Electro Harmonix Octave Multiplexer

NL - Dit is een reissue van het gelijknamige pedaal uit de seventies. Deze zit in een iets kleiner en stevigere behuizing, en heeft de gangbare hedendaagse voedingsaansluiting.

Voegt een octaaf toe onder je oorspronkelijke signaal. De tracking is erg goed, maar je moet daarvoor wel monofoon spelen (geen akkoorden dus). De high filter knop voegt oversturing toe aan het bas octaaf. De bass filter knop voegt diepte toe aan het oktaaf. Met de blend knop is de balans in te stellen tussen het droge signaal en het octaaf signaal.

Dit pedaal is ook geweldig als je hem voor een fuzzpedaal (big muff) gebruikt. Dat levert klassieke klanken op als “think for yourself/the Beatles”, “I want to take you higher/Sly & the family stone” of “Get on your boots/U2”

Gebruikt maar in prima werkende staat.

ENG - This is a reissue of the seventies effect. This one is housed in a smaller and stronger enclosure, and takes a standard (boss type) power supply.

This pedal adds an octave below the original signal. The tracking is very good, but you have to play monofonic  (chords are not allowed). The high filter knob adds overdrive to the octave signal. The bass filter knob adds depth to the octave signal. The blend knob allows you to blend the octave and the dry signal.

This pedal is great on it’s own, but is also great in front of a fuzzpedal. This has led to classic guitar sounds such as The Beatles “think for yourself”, or Sly & the family stone’s “I want to take you higher” or U2’s “get on your boots”.
