High end japanse 5-snaar gebouwd door SGC Nanyo. Essen body. De geschroefde hals bestaat uit 3 delen kwartiers gezaagd flame maple en is voorzien van een ebben toets met een 16” ronding en 24 frets. Het bescheiden formaat van de body houd het gewicht van dit harde hout toch comfortabel laag.

Dit superstabiele en klassiek klinkende houtplatform is voorzien van beproefde high end GOTOH brug en tuners, een topkam uit messing en de elementen en actieve electronica zijn van SGC Nanyo zelf. Dit is japanse kwaliteits audioelectronica anno 1988.  De bediening is eenvoudig met 4 knoppen: Master volume, balans tussen de elementen, en twee regelaars voor het laag en het hoog.

De P-J configuratie in combinatie met de actieve electronica maakt een veelheid aan bruikbare klanken mogelijk.

De bas is in een nette staat, er zit enkel wat lakschade op de onderste hoorn (zie foto). Ook bovenop de kop zitten wat minimale krasjes.

Zeer veelzijdige en professionele bas voor weinig.  Inc. koffer.

High end Japanese 5-string built by SGC Nanyo. Ash body, bolt on neck composed of 3 pieces of quarter sawn flame maple. Ebony fingerboard with 16” radius and 24 frets. The relatively small body keeps the weight of  comfortably low.

This super-stable and classic sounding woodplatform has a brass nut and reliable tuners and a sturdy bridge by GOTOH.  The pickups and electronics are made by SGC Nanyo themselves: Japanese quality audio parts from the late eighties.  The controls are straightforward: master volume, pickup balance, treble and bass.  The P-J configuration combined with the active electronics gives a phletora of usefull sounds.

This instrument is in very good shape. There is some chipped laquer on the lower horn (see photo). There are also some minor scratches on the upper point of the headstock.

Very versatile and professional bass at this price. Case included.
